Meet the Author
Meet Andrée, the Author of “Don’t Pack Me!”
Andrée Jansheski
Andrée says “My mother told me I was born with my clothes folded. Throughout my life, I have been complimented on my organizational skills, which were particularly useful considering I moved about every two years. With each move, I always had my toolbox in hand and the movers would inevitably comment, ‘Wow, you are really organized!’”
She has twenty-four years of retail experience with two major department store chains. Starting in the basement receiving area, earning successive promotions, she became a buyer, then a General Manager, and finally a Vice President.
Andrée’s husband, John, introduced her to the self-storage business. In 2006, they turned their business into a Certified Green & 100% Solar Powered Business, a matter of great pride for them.
“I enjoy our daily interactions with a diverse stream of customers who allow us a brief glimpse into their lives during times of great change. Many have expressed their appreciation and sadness when they no longer need our services and are finally on their way. Our customer service is especially important to us.”
Andrée began jotting down helpful tips, then printed small handouts to give to her customers. This led to several suggestions she compiled into a book. Now all of the helpful tips and moving experiences she’s accumulated over the years are in this humorous book, Don’t Pack Me!, How To Pack Everything Else.
